I'm a graphic designer, art director, and writer with over 25 years of experience helping organizations look and sound as good as the work they actually do.
My clients range from mission-driven nonprofits and healthcare organizations to small businesses, arts groups, and startups — and I genuinely love that variety. Every project brings a different problem to solve, a different audience to reach, a different story to tell. That range keeps the work alive for me, and I think it shows.
What makes my approach a little different is that I work across both design and writing. Most clients have to hire separately for each — and then manage the gap between them. I close that gap. Whether a project calls for a visual identity, a print piece, a campaign, or the words that go inside all of it, I can handle both ends, and build them together from the start.
My design sensibility is rooted in fine art. I trained as an illustrator before moving into graphic design and art direction, and that foundation shapes everything I make — an eye for composition, color, and form that goes beyond software, templates, and AI. It's the difference between work that's technically correct and work that actually stops someone.
I've written for the APA Monitor on Psychology, developed social media campaign scripts, and brought that same attention to voice and clarity to client communications across industries.
If you're looking for a collaborator who can think visually and verbally — and who brings genuine enthusiasm to whatever lands on the desk — I'd love to hear about your project.
