This series was created by combining traditional printmaking with modern cement and glass sculpting techniques. In practice, I have developed an original process that allows me to expand on the printmaking traditions I am fascinated by. In theory, I have created glass and concrete prints.
Each saint is an invention. Some are based on sideshow performers (such as St. Nigel, the dog-faced boy) while others represent a theme (like St. Nonprognatius, the saint of unborn children). All of them, however, were created with the thought in mind that we can never know where true saints are hidden, rather they may emerge from even the lowest of places.
